Hey James,

I don't know if your system is out still or not, but would you be able to take photos of it out from all sides plz?

I'm really new to this, but really want to have my own work in my Z. I'm going to be putting a pair of 12s in, so I would like to see the bottom part of the box if you could, so that I can try and figure out by how much I need to enlarge it, if at all.

Thanks!

[QUOTE=james840a]I got my 3/4 MDF from Lowes, it only comes in 4'x8' sheets, i have never seen it in any pre cut sizes. Home Depot has it too. Youll need a truck or have them cut it down for you. But youll have to buy the whole sheet.

i just bought 2 2x4 3/4 MDF from Home Depot.
you can go to the shelving section adn get 12"x4' pieses also.

Ok guy sorry for the long delay, But i have the top plate and a side profile scanned in of my box. I attached a small sample of the scannes. If your interested let me know, i have the files in full size. I can email you the files and you can take them to blue print shop and have them plotted to scale. You can trace them on to your MDF and cut.
When PM'ing me include your email address. The to files are ziped to 400k, when unzipping them one file is 20mb the other 2mb.

Dont worry about paying me, this is my contribution to all Z owns on this site.

James

I wonder how much sound difference there is between this set up and the tradition under strut setup. I would think that since the subs are facing the hatch glass, that all the sound would be bouncing into the cabin. Maybe an audio guru can shed some light.

Nice design.

I'd like to copy it but I don't know how I feel about having sub woofers in plain view from the outside of the car.
