Smile Pics of my Alpine system

Finally finished my audio system install. It sounds awesome!!!

Alpine CDA-7998 head unit/DVA-5210 DVD player.

Alpine TME-M770 6.5" monitor

Alpine CD changer. (blurry picture)

Two Alpine amps installed in the glove compartment

JL Audio 12W3v2D4 subwoofer. Soon to be in a fiberglass enclosure.

Not pictured. Front speakers" Diamond 6 1/2 separates. Rear speakers Diamond 6 1/2 coaxial.

Future plan is to add an Alpine PXA-H701 eq/processor and a fiberglass sub enclosure.

Lemme know what you guys think

Lol, I know, it doesn't move at all.

I actually have a 10 inch fiberglass sub enclosure that goes in the stock location but it needs a lil more work. A friend of my brother made it for me.

But I just love the way my "ghetto sub" sounds. I might just use it for good, or maybe create a fiberglass enclosure for it and place it at the left corner of the trunk.

Same here. I actually pulled the 7998 from my Pathfinder and used it on the Z. Now the Pathy has the stock "Blose" system.

I need advice guys. I have the cda-9851 deck and the motor went out so I cannout listen to cd;s. Now Instead of spending 300+ on the ipod and getting it connected can I just put in a changer like the one you have? How much did it costs? Hard to install? Can I even put a changer on my radio? Thanks!

You should start your own thread instead of taking this one off topic.

Not to be completely random, but was that "Heat" that was playing on the DVD screen?

Highly doubt it, you can control that Alpine DVD player through that deck's AiNet system

Reason I ask is because I am getting the alpine 9855 and was told that I will have to use an FM modulator to hook up the DVD player if I use an IPOD interface. I think they said I would use up the Aux. w/ the Ipod. Any thoughts about this??
