Excuse the dirt, an interiro detail is needed, but this pic shows that even the "cubby" under the compartment was preserved.

Finally, here is a pic of the enclosed compartment, sub enclosure cover from courtesy nissan.
I plan on dremmeling out the Bose.

I don't have the NAV, but if I did I think I would get Clarion's center-channel speaker and mount it in the dash underneath the headunit.
