Have you priced the Satellite receiver, its like 200 bucks or something, thats how they get you with this unit, all of the options are 'add-on' and expensive. A friend just installed one, got it for 350 at Crutchfield. would end up being a grand by the time you add satelite, bluetooth, stearing whell controller, etc.. DOn't get me wrong its awsome, very fast USB2 transfer rates and the display is just like an IPOD.

i dont have the bose system, so the speakers still suck...i'm gonna eventually switch out the speakers for better ones. the nav still works, but i lost the voice command (oh no
). some people will tell you that the nav will be completley lost if you change the deck, but that is BS...at worst, you will lose the annoying voice that says "TURN LEFT IN 100 FEET. TURN LEFT IN 50 FEET. TURN LEFT IN 25 FEET" etc..i never used that anyway, so i dont miss it.

the xm adapter is only $80 according to alpines website...but yea, the bluetooth, hd radio, xm radio and all the extra stuff are sold separately.
personally I couldn't live without a CD player. Being a musician/producer I need to be able to pop in peoples CDs. Its nice to have that if you need it on the fly. IPODS and the digital age are upon us but we haven't completely cleared the CD barrier just yet, maybe in my 2011 400Z.

my bad, crutchfield lists the HU at 399, and XM or Sirius adapters for 99 each.
