Very nice... I was looking at the same head unit, but have been holding off because it doesnt have a CD player. I suppose I wouldnt have a need for one with the iPod, but you never know. In the long run, I'd rather have the ipod anyways.

Love how it looks though, may just go pick one up now! thanks for posting the pics!

Well I figured, it has 80gb of music on it, and I can hook up a USB thumb drive to it as well. That plus satellite radio would pretty much make CD's obselite.

Yea it's a 5th gen. Its the same speed as if I were navigating from the iPod itself. I don't notice any lag/delay.

Sweet! Another question tho... does it come with a remote and can you scroll thru the ipod with the remote? If it does... I'm ordering today!

yea, the gaps kinda annoy me...i asked if the guy could push it out a bit more to make it flush, but he said its not possible...i dunno why its not possible, and frankly think he was just being lazy...but i cant open it up myself and do it because i have no idea what i'm doing =\

Default got mine in!

man this is what ive been waiting for.. CD changers are out.. ipod is in!
i have all my songs, over 3k all at the tip of my fingers in the car and out!!

for anyone that is pretty dependent on the ipod this is a great unit, works just like it says it does! im so excited because i have way too much music to rely on a CD changer.

PS. my install looks pretty close to the posters pics. in the next month ill probably replace the rest of the audio in the car and try to get a cleaner dash kit for the HU.

Did the new head unit improve the sound qualtiy of the factory Bose amp and speakers? Were they able to hook the audio from your Nav to the head unit? Thanks for your coments and the install looks clean.
