They drilled through the firewall instead of using an existing gromet from the engine to run the power wire; Also they used silicon instead of a firewall gromet for the power wire drilled hole. They did good work, but I still stay yours is cleaner. I doubt you'd have drilled through the firewall; And your price definately beat theirs.
They will do the right job if they have the time and aren't rushed.
If they have too much to do, or aren't given enough time they tend to start cutting corners.
