Does anyone have a picture of there IVA-205 installed. Is your HU flush mounted? Mine is sticking out approx. 1/8" to 1/4" at a slight angle up(which is better for the visual). The stereo shop said it had to be this way for the screen to open.
Any pics boys and girls???

I don't know where you find in dash units for " just a little more" ? Most are 2K and up factory or not. Alpine can be had for approx. $1400. But you are right that this is a great solution with my 205 HU and my 2 other cars?

Does the bluetooth system that is integrated in the blackbird 2 work when docked in the head unit or do you still need to purchase the additional alpine add on?

it is illegal in most states to watch videos while operating a vehicle, therefore on the US release on products like this, there are safety loops that prevent this from being done. they are possible to counteract those measures though, i can play videos on my w205 while driving because i bypassed the security on it.

and yes, it does have back up camera inputs

Yeah it has backup camera available. The shop that installed mine automatically bypassed the dvd thing without even telling me. Its a standard now and any shop will do it for you.

the nice thing about the blackbird, as opposed to the other ones you guys mention like the pioneer and eclipse, is that the maps are loaded onto the memory and don't need the map CDs. meaning its easier and less expensive to update.
