Default Stealth Install In Roadster

Well after a couple of months of research and searching for the right gear I finally started the install this weekend.

Head Unit Apine IVA-W205
Alpine PXA-H701 Digital Processing Unit
Sub Amp Alpine PDA-1.600
Subs 2 JL Audio 10W3V3
Front & Rear Amp Alpine PDA-4.150
Speakers Front JL Audio CR650 With Nazar's Door Pods
Speakers Rear JL Audio CR650X

As of right now I have finished the sub box and mounting of the sub amp and even though I don't really need it, I had one so I put in a capacitor. I have finished the flushing boards and cut out the view port for the sub amp. I was thinking about putting a view port over the capacitor but I don't know might be cheesy. The point I'm at right now is how to finish the floor boards to make them look spiffy. Any ideas would be appreciated. I don't know if just painting them would look all that great but I don't know if I can vinyl them with the view ports. I'm pretty stumbed. Still have some sound dampening to do in the trunk. I ran out, just waiting on it to get here. The 4.150 will go in the stock sub location with PXA-H701 and Sirius gear. Working on that this week. Hopefully work won't be to demanding and I can get home early and finish it up. Here are some pics let me know what you think. More pics to come as the install progesses towards the front of the car. I'm not a pro or anything, just a weekend warrior on this deal so any ideas or help is welcomed.

looks very clean, but i am wondering how well the sub will sound in the trunk, whcih is completely blocked off from the front compartment by the top mechanism area? in my past experience iwith roadsters it isnt very good unless there is some kind of pass through passage to the cabin from the trunk (S2000 for example)...

but let us know how it goes

Thanks for the comments!

I thought about the pass through issue but as you know there isn't much a guy can do with the roadster. I could have put a 10 in the factory location firing down and another 10 in the glove box area. Then put the amps and other gear in the trunk, but thought I would try this design out. I'm hoping that it will give good response off the trunk door and should hit pretty solid. If it doesn't I can always go back to the drawing board.

Bing, any ideas on ways to finish the trunk floor? What do you use on your installs? They look amazing! You are absolutely a master at this. If I was any closer I would of just had you do this.

Hopefully I can have some pics tonight if I make any progess.

Well I got everything connected and tried it out this afternoon and the subs sound awesome. It's a thousand times better than the factory sub. I haven't heard one of Nazars behind the seat subs so I don't have a reference to go off but it really rocks. Since I won't need to do any mods to the sub location I'm going to work on finalizing the false floor. I have a couple of rattles to track down but that should be easy. I will post some pics when I get done.

I have a lot of trouble seeing the screen in direct sunlight. I have to shadow the screen in order to see. I setup my playlists so I can just use the remote and not have to rely on the screen. Have no soltuion to the issue.

On the Kenwood DNX 7100 it has an option to tilt the screen down a little bit. I wonder if this will help at all? I just ordered it so it should be here and in possibly this next weekend.
