Volume is just over half a cube.. The 11o has a depth of just over 6", and I there is about a half inch of clearance behind it where the edge of the magnet is closest to the enclosure side...

Is that volume just a guess-timate or did you fill it will something and measure it? No big deal, just curious.

I tried to fill it with packing peanuts but I'm not sure how accurate it really was.. so you could call it a half guestimate?

I spent close to 3 hours last night reading all the post from all 17 pages and felt compelled to come back today and thank you for a job VERY WELL DONE! It just blows my mind that you took the time to do this for us. Im sure Im speaking for many that you have shown us the proper way things are done in car audio. We have learned from a few minor mistakes, but more importantly leaned how to do things that would cost us hundreds and even thousands of dollars to have done for us, and done right! you made it fun, keept our attention and made people look forward to your post. I dont think we will enjoy a thread like this one for some time! Thank you again!

Pete

Okay I have made a decision.. I am going to go sealed! (Sorry to all the ported proponents).. Reasons? Because I want to get it done quicker =)
So, Sub box is for sale, $125 Shipped. Please don't lowball me I think thats fair considering it will be between $20-$30 just for shipping.
110v.2 is $115 shipped. New is $155, so I think thats fair also considering this only has a couple of hours of listening time on it... buy them both together and save on shipping.. plus they are matched and the sub is already mounted, just take it out of the packaging and drop it in your car.

i think you low balled yourself on the box price. I paid $100 for a simple wood box with no covering. your work looks great...alot better than $125. just my .02

UPDATE 4/16/08

Well the old sub/box ships out tomorrow so might as well get cracking on the new set up.

I ordered a pair of 11kv.2's from eD, these in a dual 4 ohm flavor.

And I started to plan out the new box with cardboard...

And the opposing side..

See you guys tomorrow.

If that's going to be one piece from side to side, how are you going to be able to get it in and out of the car?
