Talking Huge Custom Install!!

Maybe now somebody will actually read my thread?
I am buying a 10 Audiobahn AW1006T, 900wRMS. It will be wired at 2 ohms. I need to find the best amp to power it. I have narrowed it down to three. Which one is best or worst?
Audiobahn 8000t=800w @ 2ohms for $200
Sony 1000P5=1000w @ 2ohms for $175
Lanzar 1500D=800w @ 2ohms for $225
Please respond if you know which one!

When you try and trick folks like you did, you probably won't get a response.

My answer would be Audiobahn, but thats just my opinion.

If people on't answer then obviously they do not know. Try somewhere else, like soundomain.com, ect.

man no one likes sony... I just got an offer to purchase the Audiobahn 800X1 for $200!! Is this the obvious best deal? I think Lanzar are junk but it is a glass amp, looks really nice. And Sony.. Well its Sony???

Bottom Line is:
1000 Watt Sony for $175
800 Watt Audiobahn for $200???
It will push one Audiobahn 10-AW1006T sub rated at 900@2 Ohms.

I have 2 audio bahn aw1200q's and a audiobahn a2x400hq rack mount amp, and i'm satified with them, the amp has been cutting out lately, so i'm sendin it in for warranty, but other than that the subs hit very well, and the amp puts out lots of power. so go with the audiobahn, i've had sony amps and have had no luck with them

I also agree ... all of the above amps listed are garbage ...

if you were willing to sacrafice the aethetics a bit .. you could use the JBL 1200.1 ... a great bass amp .. but it is ugly as s**t ... i know .. i use it.

The subs looked great as pictured above, so why not just hide the amp in the factory bose sub location ... and have less things to be shown, sought after, and stolen

That is a good idea.. I have 2 JBL 600.1's in my 4runner and they perform wonderfully and have not had a single problem nor have dissapointed me. the 1200.1 would be a good buy or the 600.1 (remember unless you are looking to build a comatition system the system does not need that much power to be loud and have the subs hit hard, the car is small I am only running a JL 500/5 and it puts out plenty of power

i hear audiobahn isn't the best company but i am getting the 900watt sub and 800.1 amp for a total of $300! thats over half of retail! I do plan to put the amp behind the driver's seat and am now considering making the enclosure myself with some coaching from Encore

1200.1 is an exceptional deal. Puts out around 1300w @ 14.4v at 2 or 1 ohm. Can EASILY be found used for $225. Don't need that much power? YES YOU DO!!!

lol

seriously, don't get any of those amps...no offense, but I'm just trying to prevent a sad purchase.

Nothing wrong with AudioBahn (I have heard not so good things about Sony, and I would not even consider the Lanzar)

As a side not...and not to get off track...but I get the feeling that a lot of the people on this forum think that if it is not JL audio, then it sucks.

Why is that. I mean, surely there are other good products and manufactures out there right?

We all have the same car, do we all have to have the same amps too?

And don't be haters, this is just my opinion, I am not singling anyone out in this thread (or on this site), pointing any fingers, or trying to cause any pain, just making an observation.

By the way zpeedracer,
zand02max is right, you probably pissed al ot of people off, that would be why it took so long to get replies.

Funny, I don't like JL Audio at all, except for the w7

Brands that I think should be used more on this forum:

Speakers:
DLS
Morel
Seas
Rainbow

Amps:
Zapco
DLS
JBL (for budget amps)
US Amps (although they suck a lot of power)
Linear Power
Tru Technologies
Phoenix Gold
Arc Audio

Subs:
Image Dynamics
DLS
CrystalMobileSound
Adire Audio
Arc Audio
Phoenix Gold

ALL of these will potentially kick JL's butt...just give them a try. Most are CHEAPER too.
