Am I the only one that thinks those amps will cook under the sunlight?

I wouldn't be too concerned about that, they will be much hotter when really being pushed than sunbathing. I am sure he has a fan in there also, I can't remember if the plexi sealed the amps in or not, either way that won't be an issue.

Nice install, a little too flashy for me, with the high dollar amps in plain view (I hope you got an aftermarket security system installed), but a good job, and I can only image what those 2 10w6v2's sound like being pushed by that PG monster...

The only thing I would change is the metal looking piece around the sub enclosure, I would make that vinyl so that your sub enclosure matches your interior, other than that, I love the install.
Ohhhhh yeah PG all the way!! Yep it really has the subs jumping When they did my install, they were supposed to make me a cover to fit in the cut out to cover the amps so they can hide a bit. I have to go back this friday for a few minor things and will for sure be checking on it. The metal peice I didnt like it that much either at first but it has kind of grew on me but vinyl would look good also. Something to think about. Thanks for the comments and always ride with PG!

As far as cooling goes, the PG amps stay pretty cool...and the Titanium (ZX) series have built in inductive cooling fans (pull air in through the sides, cool the fins and push the warm air out the top...I run my ZX600ti at a 1 ohm bridged load, and it stays pretty cool. Mine is not sunbathing though either, but I doubt you could get it to shut off, unless you were going full output before clipping for at least 10-15 minutes--which is defintely long enough to make your ears bleed.

bignate7, do you still have access to your spare? If so, how and can you post pics if they created something for you to be able to access your spare.

Dont have easy access but I can get it out If I really needed it. I would have to trim the plastic peice that fits under the carpet since it wont lift up much anymore and should be able to slide it out.
