If anyone need these nismo airbag warning cancel harnesses, I could perhaps get a few from Japan.
We still have quite a few of these

as far as changing steering wheels and connecting the resistor that comes with the hub, do you just stick both ends of the resistor into only one of the plufs that clipped in the bag of the oem air bag? there's a yellow one and an orange one that used to go to the airbag

Does this process have to performed on the 03 Z's touring? Or only ones with seat aribags. I'm getting confused because i want to purchase some brides and noticed that g-unit9999(leemik) had installed these resistors but because he had seat airbags.

i do know that the 03's have a weight sensor, so does this need to be performed or am i misunderstanding something?

i think only the 06+ started comin with the weight sensors.

as for the nismo harness adapter. come on people. its a 2.0 ohm resistor. you can make that yourself at Radioshack.

Some people are soldering inclined and wont make anything if they can snap a few connections here and there together.

Chebosto thanks for your help.

Default just happened to me today

I was driving home from work, made a turn, then the air bag light started flashing. WTF? I don't even have aftermarket seats or anything.

I am going to do this procedure but should I worry about my air bags in my seats from now being disabled or something in an accident.

does it say the ohm-rating needed in the FSM? maybe in the diagnostic section for SRS as far as checking the operation of the seat airbag?

This is confusing!! My airbag light has been on ever since I disconnected my passenger seat to see if some other seats would look nice in and I'm trying this reset thing but it's simply not working!! When I turn it to ACC on the airbag light stays on then starts flashing which I then turn the car off (as directed) but there is no beeping!!!!!!

ARe you guys wondering? Yes, I am a girl.. lol

the reset info is correct, but the actual sensor is different on 06-07 z... it can be extracted , but say good by to your seat... pix tomorrow....

i have installed it under my bride seat cushion, but i am not sure if it will work , i mean if it will accurately detect wieght of my passengers ( no fat chicks here )

the sensor is way different then the bladder that is sown here.

as a heads up I took it to nissan they found that the jackass who installed my SIRIUS box used the air bag harness for ground/power etc and because he didn't solder it the crimp butt connectors were not solid. They soldered it all up and it hasn't come back on for 4 months.

Thanks for the write up, I used this method to reset my airbag light after removing my seats for a trip to the track.
