I just made mine with the tripod mount, ..... its alright the swivel moves around kinda... and I have the nut tight so... We will see how it works for me today at auto X I will post pictures/ video's later. Hopefully it holds up the way i want it to. I did a test run on one of the freeway entrance ramps kinda bumpy for the expansion joints, and really sharp and ithelp up to that so we shall see.

Painted it john deer green at first didn't like it then graphite gray, then black..... I will get pics later Im feeling pretty lazy right now lol. I have incar video here though. Don't laugh it was a terrible pass...... There is alot of wind noise but.... what can you do lol. If you see at the end of the video the Camera moved from center to being pointed at the right.

possible more adjustable camera mount.
I was at radio shack yesterday and saw this tripod mount. I'm sure a more adjustable tripod mount would be nice....dont know if you really need it, but its an option!
Only 12.99 and 14.99 for one of these, im thinking i wanna check into seeing if i can remove the legs and have more adjustability out of this mount.
im gonna go see what walmart and target have too..

yea sorry, got home from work pretty late last night.
I sorta did a tripod mount. One of the guys here had an extra lying around so I used it. Haven't painted it yet. I scotch brited the aluminum so now it has a nice finish, but I think it's too shiny so I'll probably paint it black
Pics tonight fo sho!
