2003 Nissan 350z 03 clusters not working
How’s it going guys, so I just started my car this morning, and the revs go up as usual on start up and then drop down to 0 within a couple of seconds and stays that way. The parking brake light, slip, vdc, lights come on and stay on. The Check engine light does not come on, and also the speedometer does not work either. The fuel gauge is fine, and the engine temp gauge works fine but will sometimes drop down to nothing. The A/C has been working completely fine for months now and now the compressor does not turn. I have no clue what went wrong besides that yesterday it was rainy and maybe something shorted out ??? Could it be a fuse?!
Also on a side note the car runs and drives like it was, no problems with that.

Also just letting you guys know I had the battery unplugged for about 3hrs or so and then it worked fine and about 5mins later it went back to doing what it was doing. I will try again with the battery and will drive the car while it is being good so maybe the ecu can re learn how it’s supposed to be?
So an update for everyone having the same freakish problem, I unplugged negative cable again for another couple hours or so started her up and waited about a minute or so and started to drive around for maybe 5miles then this morning I started her up again no issues and waited a minute or so again and went on to drive my 25mile highway commute and everything is working great! I’m hoping that resetting the ECU was all that was needed, and I will continue to give updates if the problem comes back but I think the issue had to do with something getting because my car is lowered and has very little clearance and the day before the issue happened it was raining pretty hard. So hopefully lesson learned and on heavy rain days I will try and take another car for my commute.
