Default Nismo Body Kit In Demand.

Have just received an email from Graham at www.japanparts.com regarding my order for the body kit.
For those of you thinking of ordering there is a 90 day wait, apparently the 350Z aftermarket orders are booming.

Not surprising really.

BTW have you been given a shipping price? Care to share it? Should give us a rough estiamate to go by. Just add GST and about 30% for duty.

Is that 90 day wait only for Australia or for ANY order? I got mine about 2-3 weeks ago. I live in the North East USA. SHipping was $526.00 (US dollar).

Was that 2 - 3 weeks from the date of order?

Did you order through japanparts.com?

I would except that the back log would mean 90 day for all orders.

Question what is the ground clearance measurement. Road aurthories there seem to love large speed humps.

Love that Brickyard colour good choice, I also love the Silverstone and both colors are'nt available here.

Regards

The total landed price to Melbourne is A$5348.00 all up.

The average shipping cost (air freight) for a body kit is about A$850 and the customs and GST costs around A$765.00.

I spoke to Graham (japanparts.com) today he believes The Nismo Body kit will stay in demand for a least 12 months.

Thanks for that. As I won't be getting my Z for another 3 months and want to change wheels first I imagine it's going to be at least 6 months before I look at the kit. but time flys and that's not as long as it seems.

Did you get the full kit? I don't want the rear bumber pieces and I'm iffy about the wing at the moment. I'd really like to see the kit in person rather than just photos to be sure though.

Great news Nathan , good luck in the Australian GT class.

Now do you think the 350Z will stack up?
What short of mods have done and how much power is it producing?

When will you be racing in Melbourne ? (I'd love to come and watch.)

That's a great idea. The GTP calendar should be up on the CAMS site IIRC. We could not only give some support but also meet up ourselves if anyone's interested.

Beat me to it. For the record the CAMS site is www.cams.com.au

I should be able to make all of the NSW rounds and definitely Bathurst.
