km upon delivery?
Now that a few owners have taken delivery of their Z in Oz I've been meaning to ask a question. How many km were on the clock when you picked it up?
It's been a while since I bought a new car and just wanted to get a feel for what to expect. My last 2 new cars and 3km and 4km and want to get an idea of how hard to be on the dealer.

I got about 13km on the clock because they needed to fit in the parking sensor outside and also the tinted windows! But my dealer told me even way before the delivery that it would be around 13 km if I have those options on!

I'm surprised so many people got tinting via the dealer. The dealer wanted $800 to tint. I can get it done for $200 and get a slightly darker than legal tint through a guy I know who does great work.
BTW Bev still haven't got mine so I hope you've been enoying yours over the long weekends while I've been stuck at home.

Yep I have been enjoying the week-ends.
As for window tint I got mine via the dealer for $150. They did a great job on the windows, but the hand marks on the doors etc were a pain to get off.

Now you offer Mr Rizk, I not only had the weekends off but the 3 days in between as well. To make matters worse the old Landy is down while I try and source a brake part so I've been carless.
Bev, $150 is really cheap. Do you know which place did it?

I know where it was done, but they wouldn't be able to do yours unless you drove to Brisbane and then travelled north for another 1800kms. Still interested???

I know that I was just wondering if it was one of the big chains or a smaller place. That price is below cost for the film I use so I was wondering what brand it was.
Still, at least the break in would be well out of the way by the time I got back.
