Default Fitting the Nizmo rear spoiler

When fitting the Nizmo rear spoiler make sure it is right to the very edge of the boot/trunk lid. If it is only a few mms off the edge the wing tips touch the body work when you go over bumps - producing a perplexing noise every now and then.

Is this a genuine Nismo spoiler? mine's install accoring to the Nismo template they included with the wing, it's a good 1-2mm from the edge and it's not causing any problems, plus it has foam rubber under the tips (provided by Nismo).

No it is a copy but comparing the two together I can't pick the difference - I ended up 2 mm from the end and used foam as in the original.

Daniel has been really helpful! I kept on bugging him because the stupid freight company didn't pick up the parcel until tuesday night and they supposed to do that by monday morning or noon already... my friends and me might order more things from him again!

cheers,

richie

Pardon my ignorance, but if I was to fit a Nismo rear spolier how is the original Track spoiler attached? Will I have to drill holes and if so how are you protecting the new hole from rust?

I'll post my expert answer (ie I've never seen a Nismo kit in the flesh). The stock Track spoiler is removed and not reused. The new spoiler uses the existing mounting holes and 2 new holes. Just paint the edges of the new holes with paint if you're worried. Spoilers are usually sealed down with tape so it's highly unlikely any moisture could reach the holes to cause a rust problem.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
