Hey Dreamy, do you Auzzies also have to add onto the price import duty when the parts you order hit the docks in Auz?? We get slugged GST (goods & services tax) on top as we're importing goods.

Only if their value is over $1000.

From: http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=5549

All goods (except for tobacco products and alcoholic beverages) may be imported duty and tax free if their value is $1,000 or less.

Note: However, where there are multiple packages to the same addressee in Australia from a single consignor overseas that arrive at about the same time, then the value of all packages will be combined for duty and tax assessment purposes.

Well looks like Aussie government is more lenient than the NZ government, we only get a whole $50 worth til we're taxed. http://www.customs.govt.nz/importers...ms+Charges.htm

Simple; MD is using the US postal service while PN is using UPS. As I mentioned above, just ask a local member to have it shipped to himself and then send it to you via USPS. Or better yet, call (or PM) PN and ask if they can USPS it to you.

Yeah, the last time I bought something from Performance Nissan they wanted a bucketload for shipping. I added some stickers, and one set weighed 2lbs on their shipping calculation!

So I called them up, told them how unimpressed I was at their site, and so I told them what I wanted and they got back to me over the phone with a much more reasonable shipping fee through USPS.

Haha shipping sucks. Its not like our dollar value is that different. To ship the same item to america and back will cost 3x as much on the return journey!?!

At least we get S15's dealer delivered haha
