No, I've known these guys for more than 10 years. I also know that most Japanese tuning houses only produce in very small production runs and with such a new car and product, revisions are likely to occur. Probably just a fit adjustment but I can hope for more power

My Amuse is here!!
Going to try and pick it up this afternoon but with my work load probably won't. Also working on the weekend so probably won't get it installed either
Pics soon, dyno in a week or two.

I spoke to them this afternoon. The "improvements" are minor. There'll no longer be so many joins in the piping. While this will look neater it won't make a difference to performance. Secondly the cans will no longer be heat coloured, only the exhaust tips. Apparently there were a lot of complaints from people who didn't realise the colour would slowly disappear.
Anyway no way I'm going to be able to pick it up before mid next week so it looks like I'll be installing next weekend
They ordered 2. 1 has come in and is the current/original style. The other will arrive towards the end of next week and be the new style. So if anyone wants one they'll have a spare. Price is $3300.
I also found out a certain someone on this forum has ordered some Tomei cams and didn't mention it. Hoping to have an advantage at the track day are we?

I was thinking about the weight today. It's about 8kg and gives about 8rwkw. The HiTech is about 16kg and gives about 16rwkw. So in terms of power to weight they're the same.

zuff = zuffy? What happened to your old account?
Right now you can't get it in Ti. BTW they still haven't responded to my emails. How many weeks/months has it been now? Pretty poor customer service considering I was looking at spending a couple grand with them.
Keep in mind I can still add a Ti Y pipe for less weight again and more power

Installed!
Initial impressions. Much quieter than I had expected from that sound clip. Not much louder than stock although it may free up a bit once I get some km on it. Also a bit deeper sound than I got from the clip.
The only thing I don't like is the look from directly behind. The tips are so large and so shiny inside you can see right up the pipe. Looks a little strange IMO. I'm considering painting them inside with flat black hi temp paint so they're not as obvious.
All up though I'm very happy with it.
Pics to follow.

Don't paint the tips on the inside ! They will get fouled and it will be black from the exhaust in no time.
How about power? Any better?
Is it worth dynoing?

I won't be painting them in the next few weeks, plan on waiting and see how they colour from the exhaust.
Power's hard to say. I didn't get any clear road to really even give it a bit. I'll definitely dyno, I only expect a handfull of kw but I want to keep track of each mod so I can see what gives what gains etc.

BTW I forgot to mention the reason it doesn't fit on the US cars properly is they have an emmisions canister that fouls the exhaust. While we don't have the cannister we do have the bracket the cannister mounts to and it had to be removed for the exhuast to fit. Not a problem but thought I'd mention it.
EDIT: Just snapped a quick pic. Nothing new, you already know what it looks like.
