Fatman is back.


Hey guys, been away from the site for a while and have seen this thread progressing nicely.

So, is this weekend on for a cruise somewhere? I have another two possible cruisers. One Black Track and a White Track.

We could cruise to the Hunter or down south maybe as far as Kiama.

Any feedback??

 

Still looking shakey for me. Having lost last weekend to the flu I'll probably need to work this weekend to catch up. I'll have a better idea towards the end of the week.

 

I'm still game for a run up the Hunter valley or some nice twists up to Katoomba on Sunday.

PM me if you want to do that and i'll get a group organised.

I like the Blue mountains run personaly because the air is nice and cold and our engine love that **** ....lol

I'm also in for the track day, will bring my brother with his WRX too! So pls mod your cars BEFORE we meet . hehehehe

 

Pls let me know the details as well - will also try and make it.

 

How about we try for a fun ride to Katoomba, it should be nice and cold for the cars...

Meet at McDonalds on the M4 at 10am Sun Aug 3, have a bite to eat at Katoomba, freeze to death as we get back to our cars, lol, and enjoy a quick ride back down.

Last one down is a rotten egg!

Zuffy, Dixonbn - I will see you both and anyone else at the McDonalds on the M4 at 10:00am Sunday. We can wait for 15 minutes or so for the stragglers, I guess.

The traffic sucks coming back from Katoomba though.

Am fairly new to Sydney - where on M4 is the McDonalds? Just so I know how much time to give myself to make it by 10am. Thanks.

 

McDonalds on the M4 is at Eastern Creek. It's huge you can't miss it.

There's one on each side of the HWY but we're obviously going to be at the West bound side (heading to Penrith). Just for anyone who is coming from the west!

Anyone wanting my mobile pls PM me... if you call we'll wait for you more than just 15min if you call.

Did you do the trip? I saw 3 cars coming towards Leura around lunchtime and I was heading back down the mountain to Sydney after a weekend away.

That would have been them: one black, blue & silver. I met them at eastern Creek but couldn't make the drive. The cars copped plenty of eyeballing at McDonalds

 

Yeah that was them!

Looked great from my side. I spent the weekend up there and I had so many people hanging around the car it was a little un-nerving so 3 cars would have sent them crazy up there!!!

Hi Mike, you're right that was us you saw at Leura.

I went up with Zuffy and Dixonbn. Great trip, great company.

We had lunch at Leura and then headed off towards the lookouts and scenic railway. The attention was all positive. Plenty of thumbs up and I'm told that quite a few photos were taken by interested passersby.

Pity nsw350z couldn't come up the mountains. Maybe next time more of us can make it.

Dixonbn has some photos which I'm sure will make their way up in the forum.
