The thing that is obviously different about this system, is the lack of a "y" pipe: the middle section runs independent left and right tubing from the cats all the way into the resonator. I haven't seen that among the proliferating Z exhausts systems, although it is similar to Alfa V6 design, possibly others.

Still, if I've read the posts correctly, the muffler section alone, in this system, is getting power increases equal to the best current catback sysytems. Quite a muffler.

Dude, the picture of the system shows that there is a y-pipe included with the package.

I was pointing out that there is no "y" in the system. The other non-dual systems have a Y, and then a single pipe enters the resonator. In this one, the left- and right-side tubes both enter the resonator, which acts like a Y, collecting exhaust from both engine banks.

Hi All
Tony the fabricator from Hi Tech has just made us some race headers for Nathans race car.
Procar our sanctioning body has allowed the Z to use headers.
They are much like the the Nismo ones that are used on the Jap race car, similar to the US B&B headers but with longer primary pipes that eliminate the cats.
He has made a beautifull job, but Hi Techs work is always 1st class

Peter, I'll be at Croydon Sat 6th at 8.30 to dyno my exhaust. Thought you may be interested to come and dyno your changes given we both dynoed at the same time previously and would help maintain a baseline comparison. Might be an idea to give them a call just to make sure they can fit both of us in.
