I didn't. I converted to hp befiore someone else asked.

BTW just saw you're other post. I assume that dyno was with the air filter. If so it probably accounted for 2kw or so.

If the next dyno run gets pushed back to Thurs or Fri let me know as I could make it there those days.

Hi Zuffy - Which filter are you using? That's a very impressive gain that equates to about 30kW at the crank - wow. You should be able to notice the difference in the cars performance.

PS: When can we get together so I can run with you to see the difference between your mods and my stock Z?

I'm running the stock filter in this dyno run.

I'll try and post the time of the dyno but Jim is so busy that i just ring and see if he can fit me in. To actualy book i'd have to wait 2 weeks.

Nice gains.

Shame it does not kick in at 100 Kph. Then I would look like this while pressing the gas

lol MR RISK, it's not like we all drive in 5th gear all day long.

It does make 170rwkw in first too !

All up it's been a great mod for my car... the graph isn't very helpful in that it doesn't show rpm and thus you can't work out at what point the exhaust mod started to make a huge difference.

Looks like from about 5000-6300rpm is the biggest gain.

And if you were at Wakefield you'd know that 4000-6000 is where we spent the most of the afternoon.

I have "proven" Red is the fastest colour Z.

Had the dyno this morning, max was 174.4Kw!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's just with the system and the K&N drop in filter.

The dyno was done in 4th gear, the bloke said if he did it 5th it would have been too fast (unsafe?) for the rollers?

My scanner at work is buggered so I will post the graph as soon as I can.

4th will show about 10rwkw more than 5th...lol (if you recall my first pull in 4th netted 160rwkw, once he figured it should be 5th i got 149.9).

So Red isn't the faster colour, silver is!

Hehehehehehe

Spacer just went in an hour ago... no power increase noticable but there seems to be more torque.

Also removing the strut bar makes a major difference going around corners....woooaaahhh massive oversteer (first time i got the end to fishtail). FYI We just left it off for the dyno tomorrow.

Mat, it's at 8am if you want to come. Well 8 to 8:30!

See you there if you can make it or i'll be posting the results in the afternoon once I talk to Pete and Nathan about how to proceed from there.
It's always hard to remove a mod if it's packing a nice gain!

Harry, I do hope you know I'm joking. I think you do but as you know it's hard to tell sometimes just by looking at text.

Zuffy, I was going to sleep in but I'll see what I can do. I'd just like to see the spacer first hand.
