I'm not that sure when to get the oil changed - salesman said 15000 kms - service says 7500 to 10000 kms.
What do they do and how much did it cost?

I can afford it but I hate being ripped off. (Half Scots Half Jewish - there is no-one tighter).

That being said service were very helpfull - repalced my wiper blades the generic blades (blades were stuffed at 500 kms) and charged $7.00!!

I asked what oil they use - Shell Helix. I thought I might go for Mob 1.

 

I did an oil swap at 1000kms (more break-in oil), and swapped it out for the std Nissan oil at 5000kms. I'll get rid that at 10000kms for a top level synthetic like Mob1 or similar.

 

Do it per the service manual intervals, that's what warranty will be decided upon.

Mobil 1 would be fine but I use Castrol Formula R 5W-30.
