1st BP Ultimate, 2nd choice either Optimax or Synergy depending on what's available at the time.
I actually time my fills to make sure I can get BP. Can't actually remember the last time I used something else in the Z. May have actually been on the way home from the dealer (bastard gave me an empty tank).

I normally use Mobil as the servo is right around the corner from my house so its convenient. I have always (last 10 years or so) used it my bikes and have never had a drama.
If im elsewhere Ill usually look for Shell.
In Newcastle there really arent that many places that have premium anyway.
You also forgot to include things like Elf 104!!!!!!!!!!!
As always

As a previous owner of the thundering LS1 (Clubbie R8/280Kw modified) there was an opinion that Optimax was the last fuel to use as its get its 98 ron rating by using additives where as Mobil and BP distills there's to 98, a more consistent brew.

I used to own an LS1 before the Z and the car ran great on any fuel...in fact it loved crap 91 octane once in a while.
Work that out! I still have a few friends who won't let go of the V8 bug and they say the same. Standard fuel maps work well with regular fuel.
You use to much shell or BP 98 oct and it seems to underperform. Put in some crap fuel and the car comes alive for one tank full of gas.
As for Shell optimax, I agree there seems to be some inconsistancies in quality.
