Default US v AUZ Z times

Just spent a couple of hours looking at road tests, dyno stuff

and owner posts, and it seems that

1. The US car manages 0-100kph (0-60mph) in mid 5's v AUZ
mid 6's
2. Their exhausts must be much more rorty than our asthmatic
versions, and
3. Now I pharkin' forgot - bloody missus ! ! !

Frosty, I think one explanation for the times, is the fact that 60mph is actually 96kmh. The Z gets to 98kmh whilst in 2nd and therefore needs to get to 3rd gear for the 100kmh. Therefore there will be a slowdown due to the gear change.

There are some other reasons why there is a difference. Can't recall all of them now, but I'm sure some of the others will advise more.

Still a fast stock car that looks hot.
