quick fix for the front number plate surround
hi
after installing the insane anime grounding kit (love the smoothness) i thought since i had my tools out that i would get rid of the black number plate surround. This is only a temporary fix until i find a better option & or am ready to get someone to fill & repaint the huge holes nissan have hole-sawed in the bumper...
All i did was take off the backing & cut out the two bits of the plastic that join the plate to the bumper with a new stanley knife, these need to be done carefully to fit neatly behind the plate without sticking out but it only took about 40 mins.
It is secure and doesn't vibrate so won't damage the paint. The plate is actually about 1/2 inch out from the bumper

Its just a bloody shame we have to do anything to "fix" the bumper.
WTF were nisssan thinking by putting it there in the first palce.
Your solution looks a ***** load better than how it was.
On another issue, on the first photo it looks as though the bit of your grill you take out to get to the tow hook hole is missing???
As always
