Thumbs up Hi-Tech Problems... BUT Lambros is the man!

I just start another thread....

"Exhaust Tips"
==============
Both tips are about half an inch too long and the right hand side tip is about 1/4 inches longer than the left hand side one...

well... my tips lengths are fixed with another 100 bucks... but somehow one is still slighly higher than the other (with a tiny bit of angel out).... we cannot get this fixed as the exhaust pipes setups from the muffler aren't going to allow this to happen (one pipe is higher than the other)

"Vibration Caused by Non-Flex Y-Pipe"
============================
Plus.... we don't have "Flex" at the Y-pipe, so if we go through the hump or cruising with bits of engine movement, you can actually feel the engine vibration... this is due to the whole system is simply TOO STIFF!!

"Welding Quality"
=============================
Also notice the welding parts inside the tips and the opening of other pipes aren't cleaned up properly. The qualities aren't good at all.... sorry Hi-Tech, muffler shop"s" think that this is not the quality that Hi-Tech suppose to have.

BUTTTTTTTTTTTT......................

After speaking to Lambros at Hi-Tech for quite a while and explained every single problem that we have, long story short...

HE IS A TOP GUY!!! THUMBS UP FOR HIM! He is willing to fix all the problems for us, but due to his factory problems at the moment (really understand his difficulties at this stage), he is about 3 weeks behind his original schedule and also the QC cannot be done quite well... He asked us to give him 2-3 weeks time, he will improve EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM on the current exhaust for us and bring us back the HI-TECH Quality!

Will see a brand new Hi-Tech in 2-3 weeks time guys! Once agian... BIG thanks to Lambros for taking all the responsibilities!

cheers,

richie

So will he fix the tips? Thats nice of him.

I wouldn't have taken notice if I wasn't told. My tips don't come out far...much like original. With the rear end off it was obvious.

I don't care about getting it all perty under the car BUT the rear is end is a must imho.

for mine and Yun's one... our tips are just like.... nearly 2cm outward than the original tips.... Normally, with the original tips, if you stand behind the rear bumper, you cannot really see the tips, but with ours, tips are just sticking out.... that's why it makes the cars look weird... but if yours is just like the stock one, it should be looking good!!!

cheers,

richie

Hmmm, it may be that I should wait until the new year to purchase mine then if it will take 2-3 weeks to fix these niggling problems and he's 3 weeks behind schedule. I'd rather wait an extra month and get quality work that I'm happy with then rush into it. What say you DavidM?
