Default Disable Ding-dongs

Is there a simple method of pissing off the annoying ding-dongs -
either selectively or completely?

I find them annoying and irritating - its typical yank ********e like as if I never learnt to drive a car and do the normal responsibilities.

And if you ever want to watch the game with the radio on and the
door open 'caus it's a hot day - or just open the door for air
while the missus does the shopping - fuggen ding - ding - ding -ding - forever.

OK for lights on etc, but soon it'l bell to remind you to declutch to change gear.

When I installed my aftermarket head unit, I soldered the wires such that I always had power going to the head unit, even without the key in the ingition. I forget exactly what wire I used. That's how I sometimes listen to the radio, doors open, and the key in my pocket. No ding-dong, nothing. The only caveat is that when I turn the ingition off and go to get out of the car, I have to remember to turn the head unit off, or it will play all night long.

TEPID, I got mine disconnected the day of my first "service". AFAIK it's simply a matter of pulling out a fuse?

As your friendly service chappy about it, Im sure he would be more than happy to take it out for you.

As always

Fantastic, just a fuse huh? I'll tell the service guy tomorrow to pull the fuse out for me. Damn that sound is annoying!
