Default Strange ?

The forum's gone into recess - so here's a bit of interesting
babble -

Wind your windows down, press lock and wait a while.

Now press unlock, but don't open the doors - just like you changed your mind - and maybe walked away without
relocking (the missus started yelling, or you remembered
leaving your wallet on the dunny floor).

Lo and behold - the bloody car RELOCKS itself as the interior
lights go off !

Very thoughtful - but wish they had put some of the development
costs wasted on this sort of thing into suspension, etc.

it's a leak safe mechanism, most european car use this, this will ensure the window lock properly

Lionking - this happens so that the window seals behind the frame so that the glass doesn't get sucked out at speed. BMW had this on the M3 years ago.

Frosty - you must have been living under a rock.....just about every car on the market has this function .....even my spare car (AU2 XR6) has this

The auto has a beep beep beep when in reverse. Sounds like a friggin tip truck backin up. Does the manual have this too? Maybe I can get the fuse pulled - have been thinkin about just not using reverse as it gives me the sh!!!!!ts.
