Default Strange Rear Wheel Grinding Noise

I was rollin off the free way and waiting at a stop light. Slowly I was inching forward when the rear wheel started making a very strange grinding noise. I suspected something was dragging on the ground so I pulled over and looked under the car... nothing. Strange I thought, however, it was almost as through the rim was rubbing on the curb?!

As I left the parking lot the stop didn't stop immediately. It did stop about 50-100 feet of speedy driving. It stopped and I stopped to listen for it again and this time it wasn't there.

Anyone else heard grinding noises in the rear section??

I've heard it in the front. Cant figure out what it is. Dismiss it as computer braking things. Who knows?

mine made that right before the ABS sensor on the right rear wheel went out -- 'course it didn't GO out until the ABS, Slip, & VDC-Off lights popped on, lol
