Default Why dont our windows go up/down with remote?

I notice the US site talks of holding the remote buttons down for 5 sec or so to get the windows down or up - I've had no success with this. Has anyone?

only down. not up.

if you hold the unlock button for a few seconds the windows should go down.

No matter how long I push the unlock button the windows dont go down.

On another, but similar, point, I was reading the manual last night looking for info on the spare wheel fitment and I saw a picture of another type of remote that has a button to open the hatch!

Anyone know anything about that?

no hatch button either?

my remote has a button to open the hatch....and, if i press the unlock button for a few seconds, the windows go down.

how do you open the hatch then? do you have to use the button by the license plate all the time???

TEPID, you are a silly carnt, LOL!

Jerkin, yeah we pay a premium in OZ to get farked over, other than becoming a contortionist (sp?) and trying to reach the "secret" button under the rear brace we have to push the button near the number plate!

Apparently if you hold the unlock and lock buttons down for 13 seconds and whistle Jingle Bells, a red glow appears on the front of your car and you get to guide the sleigh that night.

Frosty, you make me laugh.

Done it again!
Got a habit of resting my left arm on the console with the hand at the ready for the gear lever.
Yes - the elbow turned the seat heater on.
Didn't notice - just got hotter so up with the air conditioner.

Chri*st I'm glad we got these bum toasters - with our climate down here in the antipodes we sure need the extra heat!

The money could have been wasted in a "sports" car if they had been stupid enough to spend it on zenon lights or even lightweight wheels as in USA.

Thanks Nisshit for thoughtful orig equipment selection.

By the way - still waiting to hear about the "never heard of it"
tyre feathering problem report on my vehicle.

When I first heard of the heated seats I thought "WHAT A ****!!! - I'm gonna make sure none of my mates find out about this! They'll give me so much **** I'll never be able to go out in public again." Then - during winter - had a few dates. The girls LOVE the heated seats. Thanks Nissan for pre-warming the bums!!!

Ok ... I'll shut up now...
