Nuff thats alot, how old are you?

I was paying that +$200 more last year.

I'm 26, living in the city doesn't help, if i lived on north shore it would be around $2200.

Do you think the cost of insurance will reduce if you only drive the car less than 1 or 2 times per week?

I dont think so...
how you're going to prove to them you're only driving 1 - 2 times
a week?

but I know there is a company that will cover you cheaper, but the car cannot be parked outside the claimed address after midnight, otherwise its not coverered if its stolen

Places like Shannons do offer limited use policies but I can see a potential problem if they claim you've been driving it more often. How do you prove otherwise? Also not a big saving IIRC so not worth it IMO.

The limited use policy is based on kms. You give them the odometer reading when you start the policy and that's that!

Shannons might be different but when I looked at it with Torque it was unlimted km two days a week. Was only $200 per year cheaper so I didn't bother but I can't see how they'd know how many days you drove it.
