Hi-Flow Cats
Sounds' like all you guys are happy to risk a $10,000 fine if caught with a non standard set of Cats, it's illegal to replace them and they must be replace if damaged with the original OEM one's.
What's your though's on this one ?

I think there is a big misundertanding in regards to the $10 000 fine for the cats. Surely that fine is for illegal cats or no cats at all. This must surely be the case when there are many exhaust places not only fitting hi-flow cats but producing there own. take for example lambros at hi-tech, there is no way that he would produce his own cats if they were illegal because then no one would buy them and he himself would run the risk of having to deal with the law?
Why doesnt somene call up the RTA or police and ask them what the law is???

I'm not going to P-zero. I'm on Budget now :P i'll just go for S03 :P
245/35 front and 275/35 rear
FYI the S03s are $550 per tyre for 245X35X19 and the 275X35X19 prices vary, I managed to get them for a good price of $450 each, but they would not cost that normally
So S03s are not the cheap alternative, they are a Ultra High Performance Tyre. You will find that your tyre choices are limited based on the sizes you want, providing you want to have the same type of tyre all the way around.

Thats a good price ypwpat! Get them. The Continental were something like 600 - 650 per tyre, i forget the exact price and they wear down quicker than any other tyre so you'd have to buy them more often. I think the P-Zeros are more again but KY350 is quoting the price for the stock sizes? Is this correct KY350?
mmorris, A 275 would not go on a 8.5" wheel, a 255 will, and not sure about a 265, it might but the performance would be less than that of a 255 tyre. Its not just the width of the tyre that determines the performance, its matching the right sized tyre onto the right sized rim.

yup.... mchapman is correct.. I had 255 on the 8.5J previously on the Ray's wheel, no problem at all, love the handling too!!! and I guess 265 might fit, but not too sure either!!!

Well i originaly wanted a 275 for the TCS issue but NRMA insurance wouldnt let me get bigger than 8.5". With that i got the 255 rear and 245 front but i have the "SLIP" light come on quite alot which is the most irritating thing in the worl. especially when you are driving in a straight line.
