ZEDD.

You are not the only one. 1000 K on the clock first service. They decided to take it through their courtesy car wash. WTF I flipped as they never told me they were going to do it. I seriously chased the guy and could not stop him.

Anyway inspected the car after the wash and noticed one of my wheels were damaged as he clipped the rail in the booth(about 1.5" scratch). I took it up with the service manager and typical response "that could of not been us". Anyway at that point I asked

"How do explain the paint flakes caught in the water bubbles seen here"

Umm. We have a new car on the showroom floor we will now get you a new wheel.

Moral of the story is. If you can service or fix it yourself then do it !!

Hope this makes you feel better

Have to agree on the service - do it yourself, Get a manual and you will see just how little work actually gets done for your dollars. Without banging on too much about Nissan service - my previous experience with a 200SX was not up to standard by a long way( they will tell you black is white to avoid fixing their #$% ups ).

Aps, A good theory, Your just too eager to get your baby on the road again because its so long between drives.

Mr Rizk, Well done getting a new wheel. I agree with your statement and I do go elsewhere for servicing but as this was a warranty claim. But good info for anyone else.

RedZed, So we can add Nissan Service centres in the same category as Insurance companies. When will some companies learn that you can make more money from high skilled employees, good quality workmanship and great service.
