I really don't have one. My only requirement is reliability. As I mentioned though I'd like to get away with as cheap as possible so more funds can be directed to my next "real" car.

Well I bought my run about. Much more boring than most of the suggestions here but the price was right as was everything else:

I'm 99% certain it's the same car I bid on at auction last week so I know they only made a couple of hundred out of it and I got a 12 month warranty and full detail so I'm happy. Boring but it should be reliable and economical.

Great to park in small spots too! I had one when I worked in North Sydney.

It was red so it went faster than any charade out there at the time! Also managed to mount the kirb at the 90deg bend on the on ramp to the bridge... car landed on the rd that runs next to the bridge. LOL... car was fine! Lesson is...don't do back to back 12hr shifts!

I didn't go looking for one of these, I just bought the first thing I came across that was cheap, had good rego remaining and was clean and tidy. The 12 month warranty was a bonus. I've done about 100km in it already and it drives perfectly. I'll drop it off at the workshop tomorrow for the obligatory full fluids and filters change and I'll do the timing belt as well just to be on the safe side. Shouldn't have to put anything other than petrol in it for the next 6 months then.

I noticed that, nothing even about the colour

I've had some interest but nothing certain yet. I didn't really expect any interest as I put it in at a fairly high price initially. I figure I can let them bargain me down but I won't be able to bargain them up so it was worth a shot.

A friend of mine is selling her one, though hers has smaller engine and looks to be in bad condition.

Ive checked out the redbook prices already but how much did you manage to get this one for at the auctions.

I didn't get it at auction, I bid but pulled out at $3500. Found it by accident at a dealer while walking down Parramatta Rd on Sat. Paid $3800 for it from the dealer. I figure the warranty was worth it. NRMA wouldn't insure it for less than $4250 given the low km.

Just pokin' around on the FOR SALE stuff on the web -

last week there was about 1/2 doz Z's for sale - this week there's about 20 - huge proportion seem to be dealers moving stuff with about 4-6k aboard.

Seems to me there must be a new model coming and it's demonstrator clear-out time.

BTW, theres a nice blue one AOF-81J there also.

Anyone recognise the fence?

LOL, I should cancel those ads.

Bought something new with wheels today. It's blue (of course) and I pick it up in the morning.

Just picked it up.

Making some lifestyle changes ATM. I've just taken a 3 month contract to give myself a break from my business, sold the Zed and am wanting to get more exercise so I started cycling again recently. Decided to buy myself a little birthday present so went out and bought this yesterday. Much more swish than the 7+ year old one I was riding.

Note that it's blue and therefore fast.
