Yep, cable ties is what you use. It's really not noticable unless you're up close. I've taken mine off for now (always fiddling) because I had to re-mount my front number plate (I ended up using the tow hook as my mounting position so I need to make some mods to the grille before I re-install it.

Cool

It looks cool man, really like to fark..off the nissan logo. If I going to do that i will paint the middle of the bumper to black or put some CF sticker

While zed, don't go for the white grille, it looks odd, keep it black will do.

Cheer

i think that middle bit would look good cut out so there is nothing there

i did a photochop of that before i got my car

then the grille would be too short and look odd ...

white grille ??

i dunno on my magna i did the grille white, was a ralliart grille not the standard egg crate one ..

looked better white than black ... casue you could see it when it was white.. black made it hard to see..

I think blacking out the bottom part of the bar looks really good on the silver's.

Whitey, get black mags - you could have your current one's powdercoated as an alternative!!! Hey, you can easily see what they'd look like too, just don't clean your wheels for 2 weeks and the brake dust should have them looking pretty black!! LOL

Personally, I'm a big fan of white and gold. I'd consider getting rims with gold spokes and a polished chrome lip on my car (which is Platinum).

im not a fan of chrome on white ..

gold on white.. im not a fan of gold
too pimp daddy for me...

saying that they WRXs are ok....
and scathing you have a silver car .... go nuts, anything will look good.. i love chromies on silver and black cars

and the golden calipers
well they are going to get done some other colour one day ...

front relectors and rear indicators ...

im still deciding to have clear or black ...

i think the rear indicators may look odd being black on the white car ... i'll have to photochop ..

Whitey - while overseas recently saw a white Z with the wheels painted same gold as the STI's.

Looked really classy.

Highly recommended.

Send me a decent pic of your car and I'll photoshop it for you.

Perth 350z,

How is your number plate staying on in the first photo?

I put eye bolts on the back of the number plate and then thread octopus straps through the grille. Fairly simple, but if you're looking at covering your holes and mounting your plate lower there is a much better method utilising the tow hook. That's how I've got mine now and I think Harryw uses the same method.

Got a photo of it now?

I dont want to cover the holes as I'll be filling them in, I just want the plate lower in front of the grill.

Not just at the moment coz my cars in being tinited. Here's a link to Harryw's and what it looks like

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=85200

and here's a link to the instructions on how the install works.

http://**********.com/forums/tutorial...&CODE=02&id=25

I didn't use my old moulding, I simply bolted my number plate directly on to the L stock (which I made the width of the number plate. You can drill holes anywhere you want on your plate if you want to get the desired final location. I can post some up close pics in about 3 hours if you like when I get my car back.
