My New front end
Did you use a few washers in between the L-stock and the back of the license plate to push the left and right side out to be level with the thicker middle bolt?

Yeah, have just used washers for now to try and have the shape of the plate similar to the curve in the bar. I only did this last week-end so I'll get around to putting proper spacers instead of washers in eventually.
I got it at Bunnings - took me a while to find it . Tried explaining to the 13 year old assistant what I was after and he sent me to the shelving section. It's all located near the builders/trade area. The only problem I had was the shortest pieces were 1.8 metres long and they cost $25 each. Oh well, if anyone in Perth does the mod, I've got the gear LOL.
The bolt is just a standard 25mm, and just remember to get nylon bolts to hold the plate on so it dosen't rattle off.
Have fun tomorrow, let us all know how you go!

From that DIY link, the parts needed were:
One aluminum L-stock 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/16" thick, and cut it to 12" long.
One 5/8" I.D. aluminum square stock cut to 2-3/4" long.
One metric bolt, 16MM x 90mm long with washer
Two metric screws, with lock nuts and washers. 5mm x 18mm long.
But you also need a few spacers or washers.
