Default My New front end

What do you think?? After removing the number plate holder and seeing the holes left behind I was very disappointed. So I’ve now had the holes filled (including the Nissan “hamburger” logo and installed a grille-tech grille insert for what I think is a much cleaner finish.

Here’s before….

The filling of the holes was AU$260.00 - The front bar needed a spray following some damage so I'm not sure how much that part cost - I think it was about AU$200. So all up US$300.00 + Grille at US$70.00

The colour matching is very good. There will always be a small amount of difference between the front bar and the rest of the car (have a close look at yours and you'll notice) because of the different promers used on plastics v's metals.

I had to have other work done as well from where some little ***** broke into my car and the panel shop did a great job of matching the paint on the drivers door and hatch to the rest of the car. Blending is a thing of the past, all panel shops should be able to match paints these days.

Cool Looks good

I took my bloody great box off the front today and Nissan certainly make a mess of the front bumper don't they?

I ended up drilling some holes in my plates to position them over the holes so it at least looks a little better. I've attached a picture of it after the fix, (but before a clean ).

What are you going to do about mounting your number plate?

Cheers,
David

I'm looking at the same way yours is mounted or utilising my tow hook to mount the plate. Haven't decided yet. All I know is I'm getting some slime line plates to take up as little frontal area as possible.

God knows why Nissan put those two bloody big holes in the front bar!!!

That looks awesome.

I'm interested in removing the Nissan badge from the front of my car (and the rear too, hopefully) so I might look into something similar.

I was planning on keeping that big front box on, since I am also planning on using it to mount a camera for track days. But, I love the way the car looks without it, so I might give it some thought too.

Thats's a very nice look!

I very much like the Nisshit badge gone.... I didn't realise what an eyesore it was.

The first thing that my friends said when they saw the nose of my car was, "it looks like they stole the badge off a bus".

Very nice improvement, looks good.

I like the look of non-black Zeds with their badges removed.

What is the grill? and where did you get it?

The Grille is from Grille-Tech, and the one I have is a black diamond style. Here's there web site

http://www.grille-tech.com/

They also sell them slightly cheaper on e-bay for US$45.00. I got mine shipped here for just under AU$100.00. There's some on e-bay now if you click on this link.

The grill looks like its made out of fabric, it definately looks better than the silver ones ive seen.

I wonder how the stock one would look if you paint it black? I think they're grey at the moment?
