Default 10,000 km servicing

How much you guys paid for your 10,000kms services to Nissan?

1. Is it better to do it somewhere else?
2. Will nissan change your air filter?
3. If you bring you own oil, how much they will charge?
4. What band of engine oil is good for our zed?

My baby growing up now

Cheers
Gary

For the Oil Mobil1 would be the best. try 0W-40 (highly Recommended) or 10W-30

I paid 180 bucks (not with Nissan)... that included syn oil.

I replaced my own air filter.... also use what the manual tells you to use. Or else you'll end up with warantee issues.

Why don't u think it's better with Nissan? is it because it's expensive?

I'm always afraid if somethings went wrong the nissan will blame the problem on you for not service with nissan, where they can keep all the record and scan diagnostic with the computer.

just feeling unsure if other mechanic have the diagnostic system as well?

Cheers

I get my car serviced at Nissan. I'm not sure how much it cost, since my car's on a lease.

They use Valvoline full synthetic, though.

At any rate, I'm pretty happy with Nissan's servicing. The thing is, servicing is a no-brainer. The factory gives the mechanics a checklist of what needs to be done, and they just do it. There's no brainwork required, and a trained monkey could do the job.

Troubleshooting problems, on the other hand.....not only have they not fixed the dash rattles I've had since day 1, but every time I go there to have it investigated they add another dash rattle.

At this rate, my car's going to sound like some weird, grindy, industrial music symphony.

I get mine serviced at Nisshit for now, I have a good raport with the service manager though and he "looks after me".

From memory the 10k cost me $148.

As always

Nisshit, r they really that bad?? If require the airfilter change in the 10,000km service, I can have reason to buy myself a K&N panel filter.
