Did anyone else see the pair of Zs that were, I'm pretty sure, competing in the Pike's Peak Hill Climb? One was DB with an RB26, and the other one was a CS with and RB26 plus AWD; both had ZELE graphics down either side as a main sponsorship or shop name. Anyhow, does anyone have more information, was this an ATTESA-equipped Z, can anyone direct me to a site for the tuner, etc? Thanks, not so much interested in the RB, more curious about the way they stuck an AWD drivetrain in a Z33 chassis.

This won't be much help... but my guess is that they were tube-frame or one-offs with 350Z shells... probably not AWD on the 350Z chassis... but like I said... just a guess.

 

Both cars were built by Top Secret in Japan.

Stack, both cars are standard bodyshells, not tubeframe.

 

I remember somebody (from Top Secret) making a thread about their Pikes Peak car in the AX/RR forum several months ago. Do a search, I'm sure you'll be able to find it (I'd do it for you but I'm on weak dial-up)...
