Lightbulb My Autocross Trailer setup

Here are some photos of my autocross trailer setup. It's a 6x8, I originally got it to take tires and a bike to events, I've sold the cycle but need to get a new one BAD, cravings.

The hitch is a custom build, the guy who built it may be building more, will deal with that later if he decides he wants to build/market them.

Hey Chris,

I am surprised you can haul that with a class 1 hitch or did you get another design than the bumper hitch. I have a similar trailer for the truck but I wouldn't put it on my Z.

It's a custom built hitch, while it does attach to the bumper it doesn't wrap around the bumper as other hitches I've seen, it also mounts further up under the car. There isn't a whole lot of tongue weight, haven't measured the trailer weight though.

I did however tow that with no problems with my Z-28 along with a ~600lb bike loaded on the trailer as well.

I'll be taking the hitch completely off this weekend just to check and make sure all our attachment points held up without any troubles. Didn't have to remove the bumper cover to get the hitch on either
