I have a Koyo and I have done 1 hour sessions in 90 degree heat with no issues so far.

my question is, will the koyo and a FMIC fit together - ie, something along the lines of APS'?

yes they will. the koyo takes up more room on the inside of the engine compartment, but doesn't stick any further forward where the intercooler goes.

I have the Stillen 2 core. It was a tight fit, but fit perfectly. It dropped my ECT about 10 to 15 degrees on average. its also almost twice the price as the Koyo at $650
