Just had my first AutoX experience... that was SO much fun. My time's were getting pretty competitive, but there was a circle that you had to go around a second time after a loop and I kept forgetting. My only gripe is that because I have a CAI (my only mod) I'm in the superstock category against people with R-compound tires , modded suspension, and superchargers. But for fun factor, no complaints.

That's my Z, along with the winner in an S2000, a Subaru Forrester (kudos to him for showing up and posting pretty good times), and a BMW showing some pretty good hang-time in the corners.

Can't wait for the next race!

 

Congrats on the first AutoX! I was hooked after my first run last year! What is with that BMW? Does he have a ridiculously stiff front sway and no rear sway? I've never seen a car get that far in the air!

 

On the stock suspension on my old SpecV, I used to carry the inside rear about 8-10" in the air. People were afraid that I was going to roll over...

 

A guy in his Hyundai Elantra GT was doing that too, but no pic...
