Default street tire class, autox

i haven't looked at any of the specifications, but i figured i would ask - is there anyone running a street tire class on the 350? what would it fit into if eligible? STU?

No back seat so its not eligible for STU. It would completely dominate STU imo, if it were legal.

I ran STU before the scca ruled the car ineligible, quickly decided that the Z required a race tire as the Kumho ecasta mx's I would run could not handle the power and weight of the car. These were 275 r 255 f.
And I believe del105 is right but don't be surprised if they do not set up a two seater higher displacement/forced induction class in the future.

So, you went with a "R" tire instead I take it? Where to you think ST-615's would fit, or would they be apt to suffer the same problems dealing with the power and weight issue's of the car as the MX's and become overcooked ? I'm debating to reup on MX's or switch to ST-615's. I just know that R tires aren't in the cards for me.

Yes I quickly gave up and went back to a Hoosier.
Not familar with the st-615's so I can't pass judgement on these.

615s will be faster than full tread MX's but shaved MX's will be faster than 615s IMO
