Default Redline Track Event at Cal Speedway (7/23 and 24)

I signed up today for the event. Infield course only, but I want to do an event at Cal Speedway (I have never been).

Hope to see a few Z's out.

$350 to two days. $185 for Sat or Sunday.

I would go if they were running the ROVAL, but I don't want to drive all that way for just the infield course. I heard that running the infield is like a glorified autocross. Let us know what you think after you run it.

I would agree that the ROVAL is a lot higher-speed. But I think the short and technical infield track can offer a lot of oppurtunity for driver improvement. Plus, events on the ROVAL are typically $500+, this is a lot cheaper. BMW CCA will be out there in August, and it is $575 for 2 days with 4 x 30 min sessions each day. I would rather do Laguna or Infineon for that price.

I just want to get out the Cal Speedway to see the facilities and learn the track (at least the infield portion). I figure it will be a lot like Streets of Willow (which I also have never done).

Skrill,
It's official...you are officially addicted to track events!!!

I can't wait to get back out there...very close to pulling the trigger on some new tires. I'm also doing some more experimentation with my suspension settings this week. I'm really psyched to get back out there. My car is getting better and better the more I learn about it.

Hey bro I will be out there too. I should have my car ready by then with the new cams, springs, and valvetrain. I know you were looking to get some cams installed and what better way to find out what they can achieve than at the track! See you there.
