Another AutoX video with in-car footage of my run this time
Similar idea to last event's video, this one is done by another fellow this past Sunday.
This time I mounted my home-made camcorder mount on the harness bar so the two competing video production crews could each record one of my runs. The AdvanTech video should be coming along shortly.
I'm at the 2:28 mark of this video.
Crazy fast course, you can see where I shifted into 3rd gear and held it open for a full 5-6 seconds.
I didn't run as well today mostly due to the circumstances. We had 56 entrants and I was running 2nd overall for most of the day. A lot of 350z owners came out in the afternoon so I started to give rides - which typically penalize me by 1/2 a second. A couple of other guys nipped be by a tenth as a result.
As for setup, for the first time I tried the rear SA Konis at 5 click and the car rotated and handle the transitions much better. The harder setting also worked the rear tires much more - almost equal to the front now. Front setting on the Konis was full firm. Pressure on the Azenis RT-615 has settled to 36psi front and 35 psi rear. Hotchkis front sway full stiff and med rear.
How many of you noticed Mr K's autograph on my steering wheel?

Nice video. You only run 36 psi? I was told to run my higher pressures... Hmm I guess it's time to break out the shoe polish and figure it out
. Anyways, good video and how do you like those konis?

I need only 36 psi with the RT-615 Azenis with 8.5" rims. My previous Kumho MX on the stock performance rims require more like 43psi.
