Autocross video of my outing last Sunday
Here's a link to our event last weekend.
I'm very impressed with the footage the guy took. Very good editing.
My 350Z is about 1/2 in the video coming straight on in a high speed slalom. Although it's hard to tell, I'm actually shifting into 3rd by the first cone and then flooring for the whole slalom before braking HARD at the 180 degree turn. I've never gone so fast on a Solo2 course.
Running the new RT-615 Azenis, I came second overall (by about 1.5 seconds) to the turbo Miata (82) also shown in the video. It would have been hard to catch him as he was running V710s and reputed to have 225 RWHP. We had 47 entrants that day.
As you can tell I'm still understeering a bit in the 180. I'm going to try and stiffen the Konis (4 clicks). You loose corner exit grip but the car does rotate better when it's a little stiffer.
