Default Good wheels for Autocross

Found these for sale and thought I'd give a heads up on here, rather than posting in the classifieds.

These are listed on Best Motoring's website for $500 + shipping

Enkei Racing Wheels
Fronts: 17x7.5 +35mm
Rears: 17x8 +35mm

So they are legal for B Stock if you have a base or Enthusiast model.

Found them on this page:

As I said, I have no affiliation with RB Motoring... just giving a heads up in case anyone is looking for some stock class wheels for cheap.

Last I checked they didn't have the SSRs in the stock size and offset.

17 x 9's will put you in BSP. We will miss you in BS. Congrats on the finish at ACU-4. How did the SLK feel compared to your Z?

The entire point of this thread and showing those wheels was because they are SCCA Solo2 Stock Class Legal for Enthus. and Base model Zs. 17x9s aren't legal.

sorry about the thread hijcak then. i'm going with 17x9 since i already plan to run BSP next season (shifting focus towards HPDEs).

the SLK was a lot slower! the rain all day saturday really was a bummer but the nice weather sunday made up for it. it's definitely no match for a 350 on 710s.

Since the thread is derailed already, what offset are you going with? When I ran BSP I was running 17x9 +27 with the 275/40 V710.

The MB Motorsport Weapon wheel is really good, something I'd consider. They're only ~120 each, and weigh 19lbs in 17x9. I have pics of them on my car if you're interested. Discount Tire Direct sells them (tires.com)

damn.. 120 a piece? i'm going with a 35 offset with the rpf1s. i'm going to have to go look at these MB motorsport wheels.. 3 more lbs for 140 less is.. yeah, worth it. thanks for the heads up!

That's why I got the MB Motorsports. Not the lightest wheels at all, but so much cheaper than others, like the RPF1. They'll do for now...

No idea where they're made. I weighed mine on a bathroom scale, so for whatever that's worth. Either way they +27mm offset is probably better than the +35.. you could even run the +17mm offset if you wanted, that's probably the best actually.

So it's up to you.. a lot of people are running the MB wheels and liking them.
