I didn't find a pic of Hines' T2 Z, but it was rocked pretty hard too.
Let me know where you sign up for the "used and abused" award.

I get allowance every weekend if I do all my chores. Plus I have to help wash the car every other weekend. My dad doesn't like me getting the APS cause I just dropped out of community college last week. I save all my money for weed oh yeah!.

I have sponsors that are listed in my sig. Some of them offer me free products, some offer discounts. I found it rediculously easy to get sponsors for my car. Even when it was almost stock. All sponsors want is a car that is going to be a lot of places. I go to at least 2 events a month with my Z. Mostly track and autocross, but for my sponsors, I go to a couple of car shows as well. All you have to do is put together a resume and show them how you can promote their company. If you want, you can pm me with your email address and I will send you a copy of my resume. I also designed a website for my Z to help promote and generate sponsors.
I didn't know you got hit that hard Jason. Looks like the body shop will make money on you two. We were in two accidents with the first one moving the left rear wheel into toe-out mode. Rob had fun geting that thru the right hand turns. Then as he came back from dead last he spun trying to avoid another idiot and hit a BMW hard enough to take off our front end. We lost everything in front of the engine. The front horns are bent at lealst 6", possibly 8" and we will have to go on the frame machine. We were mad enough that we loaded up and left for home missing the rest of saturday days races and all of sunday. My feelings are that if you have 27 called in on track contacts by the 50% point you have lost total control of the race. We need a little more sanity and I dont mean only on the track. No medal is worth all of that carnage. John.........bring some wrenches. Just kidding, we will furnish the wrenches.
I agree with you Bob. It was pure car-nage!! My car is mostly just sheet metal damage, but it looks pretty disgusting. You guys did pack up quick. After my tears dried up, I stopped over to see how bad Rob's car was and you guys had it packed away. I could tell Rob wasn't in the mood to talk and quite frankly, neither was I so we just said our goodbyes. Was a pleasure meeting you Bob. Rob is one hellava driver and you can bet I’ll continue to bug him for some pointers
Would be good to see a couple T2 Z drivers on the podium next year!
Cheers,
J

Jason, Rob is always willing to help someone who wants to improve. I was looking at the hundreds of pictures from "Digital..." and i'm amazed at how far off the line most of the cars were. I mean off by feet, not inches. Rob is a driver who can find the line rather quickly, usually in 5 laps on a 10 to 12 turn course. He is also able to make a quick lap immediately and has the tricks to get the car ready to do one on the second or third lap which is important on sticker tires. If you have radios then I would have someone on the crew radio who is a great driver and knows the track your on and can suggest corner by corner what you might do to improve. Its instant feedback that is extremely important. He can move to possibly 3 corners in one 20 minute session. Another thing we do is spend a lot of time setting the car up. Youre tall so you sit back in the car and that is very helpful to get that "seat of the pants" feel so you know what the rear of the car is doing. Anone can tell what the front is doing from the steering wheel. Get your crew guy to start taking tire temps front and read and play with the pressures some while making shock adjustments. I didnt know if you had the TC Kline shockes or not but thats out the window with the new canister shocks coming next year. Take a whole practice day to get your shocks, sway bars, alignment (toe and camber) and tire pressures to an area you can work with at any track. Then fine tune for each track from those base settings. Rob has also been to a number of tracks becasue of his year + in World Challenge and a few Grand Am races. See you somewhere this year. Bob
