Default Michelin PS2 vs Kumho MX for HPDE & Street

Anybody tried both tires on their Z?
How do they compare beside the PS2 costing way more.
Have tracked my Kumho MX and was happy with their performance.
However, large hp increase on the way.
Looking for great dry weather traction.

Not impressed by the Car & Driver tire test.
Prefer real Z experiences.

I don't have experience with either tire, but I would choose the one with the beefiest outer edge. The Z eats that outer edge like its the cookie monster and the edge a chocolate chip cookie, especially if you trail brake into corners.

I tracked with the Kumho MX last year, and I thought they sucked. Way too soft sidewalls for steering responce, and along with Car & Driver's recent test, I found their wet performance also sucked.

I'm pretty pleased with my Falkin RT-615's.........but they aren't R's!

ive had both on my Z. PS2's in 19's and MX's in 18's. PS2 are by far one of the best tires ive ever had on. considering ive run pirelli, goodyear, kumho, michelin. i am also in the business, but for me the PS2's dont give. i get scared b4 the tires give out, and i usually go ***** out. now the kumho MX is still an AWESOME time. esp for the money. the grip is great, i would say just a bit lower than the PS2's. i however do not know how they would react on an auto-x ive only taken them in the canyons. if youve got the dough, get the PS2's you wont regret it, PLUS michelin has great tread wear ratings. ive run on my fronts for about 10-15k miles, and they still look brand new. rears are different b/c of burnouts, plus very bad negative camber. BTW michelins look wider b/c of their tread design which is a plus
